New to iPad and iOS? Never used a computer before? Our iPad Basics class is designed strictly for beginners: you'll learn the essential skills needed to get you up and running on your new machine. iPad Basics is led by a certified Apple Professional.

Use this class to learn about:
  • The lock screen and passcode protection
  • The search screen
  • The Home screen, app arrangement, deleting, folders
  • General settings
  • Music
  • The App Store
  • Making purchases
  • Finding apps
  • Software updates
  • Multitasking interface, control interface
  • AirPlay
  • Safari, bookmarks, tabs, user guide, action button, Google search
  • AirPrint
  • Mail, attachments
  • Editing text
  • iBooks
  • Photos (taking,viewing, and sharing)

At the end of the session there will be time for questions. The instructor will demonstrate the class on a large monitor. There is no need to bring your own iPad, but it is recommended.

Classes are held at our Manchester, NH location. Coming to South Burlington soon!

Registration Details:

Classes are free and there is no need to register in advance. Classes are currently held Monday through Friday at 2pm.

New to Mac OSX? This class introduces users to the basic functions and setup to lay the foundation to become a proficient Mac user.

Mac OS X Basics includes:
  • Desktop and Gestures
  • Organizing your applications and workspace
  • Finder, folders and files
  • System Preferences
  • Productivity applications
  • Peripherals
  • Getting Help

At the end of the session there will be time for questions. The instructor will demonstrate the class on a large monitor. There is no need to bring your own Mac, but you might want to bring your laptop.

One-on-One

In-Store Lessons
One-on-one

Have a specific question about something else? In addition to our course offerings, we also offer up to a half-hour in-store one-on-one lesson with a Certified Apple Product Professional for $39.99. This is perfect if you just have that one pesky issue to resolve.

Examples of in-store lesson topics:
  • New-to-Mac or Basic Mac lessons
  • Simple iApps (i.e. iPhoto, iTunes, iWork as opposed to in-depth apps like GarageBand and iMovie).
  • Time Machine
  • Dashboard
  • Apple Mail, Address Book, iCal
  • Safari (or alternate web browsers)
  • System Preferences
  • Multitouch Functions
  • Intro to iPod, iPad or iPhone
  • Any other basic lessons that can be taught in the 30 minute timeframe.
Lessons are not:
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues (unless they are extremely basic)
  • Lessons on Pro-Apps or complex iApps (i.e. Final Cut, Aperture, iWeb, Garageband, iMovie, iDVD, etc.)
  • Advanced training
  • Recovering data
  • Anything that would take more than 30 minutes to teach.
