Dear Friends at Small Dog,

Here are two pictures of our Bichon FrisZ<caron> named "Beatrice," or "Bea" for short (pronounced the way Mainers pronounce the word for one of those big carnivorous creatures out in the woods: BAY-a).

She came to our family when the kids outgrew their unwavering adoration for their mother Margaret (seen in the background of one picture, the corner of the other). Bea is utterly devoted to Margaret; one might say "mindlessly" devoted, since Bea is not the quickest draw on the ranch. But she's sweet and cute, and she makes Margaret happy--what more could one ask?
