Buck was found abandoned in the mountains in Southern California where I
live. This happens quite frequently: people in the LA metropolitan area think that domesticated dogs can survive, alone, in the mountains.

Buck was thrown over the side of a hill in an area where people "party". The pads on his feet were badly cut by the glass from broken beer bottles. He has recovered nicely and is now in great physical shape. He's still overcoming his fear of contact, and his fear of entering houses. Both are probably the result of being abused.

He's a good boy, loves treats and loves playing "chase me!".
