Kibbles & Bytes

Kibbles & Bytes | Our Flagship Newsletter

Started in 1996, our original newsletter is a weekly email publication called Kibbles & Bytes. It’s our most colorful newsletter (literally and metaphorically), which contains great Small Dog deals (some exclusively for K&B subscribers), a bit of Apple industry news and commentary, and of course, Don’s occasional rants ...er, soapbox on just about any topic!

In August 2008, twelve years after its introduction, we launched the HTML version of Kibbles & Bytes. Every week, content includes contributions from Kali Hilke & Ed Shepard (Small Dog’s Marketing Duo), and news from Don Mayer (Small Dog’s Top Dog). Kibbles & Bytes is emailed every Friday.

Tech Tails

Tech Tails | Tech Talk Made Plain and Simple

Straight from the tech room, this newsletter is full of tips and fun info to make life with your Mac better (from a nuts and bolts perspective). They put Macs back together and troubleshoot all day long, so they know what they’re talking about!

It also includes specials in every issue, some exclusively for Tech Tails readers. Tech Tails is written by Matt Klein, Jon Spaulding and Rebecca Kraemer, and emailed every Tuesday. And, by popular request, Tech Tails is now in HTML!

Best in Showroom | Blue Ribbon News from Small Dog’s Retail Stores!

We’re back! The Best in Showroom newsletter was relaunched in May 2008, and then again in HTML format in December 2008. It includes content centered around our retail stores, so if you’re local to Vermont, subscribe now! You’ll receive the latest on our in-store exclusives, including sales, services, classes and more.

Each newsletter features articles and news written by the Small Dog retail crew. With each issue tailored to meet the needs of their retail customers, you’ll find reviews, product news and tips, service offerings, local Vermont news, customer feedback and more aimed to make your shopping experience better. Occasionally, we also feature contests and giveaways as our way of saying “thanks!”
