Overview

The Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter was designed specifically for use with the latest 12-inch PowerBook G4 (models introduced in September 2003). The adapter connects to the Mini-DVI port on the new 12-inch PowerBook G4 and provides both S-video and Composite video connectors. It allows many devices such as TVs, VCRs, or overhead projectors with S-Video or RCA (Composite) connectors to be connected to your new 12-inch PowerBook G4.

Use a separate Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter for VGA video out support (included with all new 12-inch PowerBook G4 systems or available for order as a standalone kit).

I personally use this device to get streaming television stations from the internet off my laptop's little 12"
screen and onto my full-size television! This adapter includes S-Video out, which provides better quality,
and composite RCA video out which is compatible with more televisions. You'll also need an audio cable to
get the sound out of your computer over to your television.
