This awesome card will give you the ability to use those hot off the shelf devices like DV camcorders, digital cameras, hard drives, printers & scanners while only occupying one valuable 32/64-bit PCI or PCI-X slot. This is key. As you very well know, space is a valuable commodity.

The external ports available on the Combo card are two USB 2.0 (backward compatible to USB 1.1), one firewire 400 & one firewire 800 port. Internally, it has one firewire 800 port & three USB 2.0 (pin-out headers can be used with front case ports & one standard USB port for flash memory card). The card was very easy to install in my G4/933MHz (OS v10.3) & required no driver. However, depending on your OS, you might require the latest driver <http://www.siig.com/driver.asp?pid=669>

The SIIG Combo card is the right price to add the high speed performance of both USB 2.0 & firewire 800 to your new or not so new PowerMac. If you need to breath new life into your G3 blue & white or want to add extra power to your G5 that even Steve McQueen would envy, this is your card.

I couldn't be happier with the SIIG card unless, it also made french toast & brewed a mean cup of joe for those sub-zero mornings here in Vermont.
