For Unibody MacBooks, MacBook Pro w black keyboards, 21.5in and 27in iMac
Some computers require RAM chips to be installed in sets. This is typically because the computer designers are speeding up the memory bandwidth by dividing the data across more than one chip; i.e. You can get twice the bandwidth if half the data is on one chip and half on the other.

I bought two of these modules to upgrade my MacBook Pro from 2GB of RAM to 4GB. A great price for RAM with a no-hassle 10 year warranty. It was pretty easy to replace the modules my machine came with 10 screws out and in and the modules were recognized! I'm a multitasker and like to have enough RAM for the average 10 or so applications I run simultaneously. As I write this review, I have about 850MB free.
This was such a great choice for me. My computer responds a lot faster now. I wonder why I didn't make this upgrade earlier.
I Just bought this 2chips of this ram to upgrade my 13 inch Aluminum MacBook to 4GB of Ram (it's max). It made a huge difference in the performance of my machine. I tend to leave many applications open and usually between 10-20 tabs open in Safari. I defiantly use my computers memory intensely, but I'm happy to report that I almost never see the scrolling beach ball now!!! Definitely an inexpensive way to give your computer a boost.
If you're a multitasker/gamer/parallels user like myself it's a no brainer to upgrade your macbook or macbook pro to 4GB. I bought two of these chips and they were super easy to install and recognized the first time. Good quality stuff.
