Overview

The iV is an on-the-go mobile battery charger that allows you to continue using your iPhone even as you charge it. In addition to the 30-pin Dock Connector port used for charging and syncing your iPhone, the iV also has a full-size USB port that can simultaneously charge another device such as a Bluetooth headset, digital camera, iPod or even another phone. The iV also includes a built-in flash LED that can be used for emergencies and low light photos/ videos.

I purchased TruePower IV on the recommendation of a coworker. I have to say, this thing rocks.

I was at an event and my iPhone and my coworker's iPhone both were running low on juice. We charged both phones AND still had power to spare. I would highly recommend it as a must-have for the iPhone.

I recently took the TruePower iV on my extended trip to Tanzania. It was a valuable addition to my
limited electronics supply. The TruePower iV is truly an iV for your iPhone. With the 3100 amp/hour Li
Ion battery, I was able to significantly extend the battery life on my iPhone.

I would use the iPhone for entertainment--playing Scrabble with Grace, playing Backgammon or
learning Swahili with the translator. On the long airplane flights it was a nice device to play with,
however, the battery gets used up pretty quickly.

One of the differences with the TruePower iV over other external batteries is that the iV actually
charges the iPhone rather than just powering it. I was able to slip my iPhone into the iV, wait awhile
and the iPhone would be charged. I could do this at least a couple of times before the big iV battery
was depleted.

Not only that but since we were in areas where AC power was not always available the USB charger
incorporated into the iV allowed me to charge the Chill Pill, too!

I even used the built-in flash to take a picture at night when we were in Amsterdam.

The TruePower iV is a well designed and very useful accessory for the iPhone--highly recommended!
