I purchased this cable along with the new Apple TV. One of the things that has always bugged me about HDMI cables is how thick and clunky they can sometimes be. With such a small elegant device like the Apple TV, the last thing I wanted was an obtrusive HDMI cable hanging out of the back of it. Thankfully Apple has devised a way to make this cable neat and compact. It looks great in my home theater set-up, and pairs especially well with the Apple TV. While Apple doesn't manufacture any other directly HDMI compliant devices, this cable can also be used with game consoles, blu-ray players, etc.

Some HDMI cables have bulky and unsightly plugs. This cable from Apple is compact and clean looking. In terms of functionality it works as it should.
