Shipping and Tracking

Our primary shipping carrier is UPS.

Our standard method of shipping within the continental US is 3-day select, a 3-business day service which does not include the day of pickup. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are via UPS Blue, and generally take 2-3 business days. International shipments are shipped via UPS International Express or DHL Worldwide Express, and generally arrive at customs in the city of destination within 2-3 business days.

Please note that standard UPS 3-Day orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Rush orders placed prior to 2PM EST will ship the same day excluding weekends and holidays. Rush orders placed after 2PM EST will ship the following Business day. Order processing includes credit card verification procedures and inventory allocation.

Faster shipping is available on UPS next-day, UPS two-day, DHL next-day, and Fed Ex next-day and two-day upon request. Orders must be placed for in-stock items before 2:00pm Eastern. Please CALL 802-496-7171 ext. 600, for these services.

We also have shipping available via Federal Express, US Mail (mostly for APO and FPO addresses) and bulk carriers for very large orders. If you need us to ship via one of these methods, please call us at 802-496-7171 ext. 600. USPS orders take additional time to ship as we live and work in a rural area and packages must be physically taken to the post office.

You are charged ACTUAL UPS, FED EX or DHL freight charges, we do not add any "handling" surcharges and charge you only our discounted freight rates ($7.99 min. shipping charge). (US Postal Service shipments may have additional handling fees due to lack of automation and our rural location)

Exceptions:
Small Dog does not normally ship incomplete orders from our warehouse, so if one or more of the products on your order is not in stock we will usually hold the entire order until we are able to ship everything together. The only exception to this is if part of the order is available from our distributor. In those cases, the distributor will ship the item separately. In all other cases, if you would prefer to separate your order into two or more parts, please CALL us. Some orders are drop-shipped directly from one or more of our suppliers. In that case, we do not have easy access to tracking information, so please contact us if you feel your shipment is over due.

Tier IV (Iraq, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, and Syria). There are no planned changes for Tier IV, current policies continue to apply. We therefore cannot ship computer systems, upgrades, and the like to these countries.

Please Note: Normally, credit card verification takes longer with international orders and this may cause a delay in shipping (48-72 hours). We also may require additional identification verification for international orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Where is my shipment?
There are several ways to find out the status of your shipment: The easiest way to find out the status of your shipment is to track your package via its Small Dog Invoice number. If you placed your order via telephone, the sales representative probably gave you the invoice number at that time.

If you only have the order confirmation number, that number will not work with this form. If you have not received a UPS tracking number directly from UPS via email within two days of placing your order, contact us at tracking@smalldog.com, and please include your order confirmation number.

Is my signature required for delivery?
Small Dog Electronics will send your high value package with an adult signature required for delivery. Should you choose to waive the signature required services, Small Dog Electronics and the delivering carrier will not be responsible for damages to or theft of the parcel(s).
