Tech Support

Small Dog Electronics’ technical support team is available 10AM to 4PM during the week, and is trained to bring quick resolution to many problems. You may reach us by phone at 802-496-7171, then press “2,” or email our support staff. We provide free support for products purchased within the month. Incidents occurring outside the first month are billed as follows:

Services & Repair

Mac Repair

For over a decade, the Apple-Authorized service department at Small Dog Electronics has been repairing Macs both in and out of warranty. Our highly skilled, award-winning team gets your repair done in an industry-leading three to five business days. We repair equipment both in our retail stores and on a mail-in basis. Expedited service is available for an additional fee.

Our Apple-certified technicians use genuine Apple parts for all repairs, though we do stock some highest-quality third party items to help you reduce the cost of some out-of-warranty repairs. We work in a static-free environment to eliminate the chance of electrostatic discharge damaging sensitive components inside your computer.

All new and refurbished Apple hardware carries a one-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. Apple does not authorize third parties to perform iPod service, nor do they cover accidental damage. Whether you’ve dropped your MacBook, or coffee wound up inside your Mac Pro, Small Dog’s technicians can help you save up to (literally) thousands on repair of the damage.

If your product is supported by Apple under their warranty, click here to access their support page.

In the event that you require warranty service or technical support for your Macintosh or Apple peripheral within the warranty period you need only to call Apple’s support hotline at 800-APL-CARE (275-2273). A technician will help diagnose the problem and if they cannot solve the problem on the phone, they will do one of the following:

  • Provide an advance replacement of the product
  • Dispatch an Apple service technician to your home or office to make the needed warranty repair if your product is covered by an on-site warranty
  • Expedite return of your product to Apple for depot repair (Portables and Monitors)
  • Refer you to the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider. Your invoice from Small Dog Electronics is your proof of purchase.
